An agent is able to make bookings via an agent portal, with a unique username and password.

1. Navigate to the left-hand menu (3 lines in the top left hand corner) 
2. Click Sell/Market Online > Affiliates
3. All current affiliates will display
4. Click Add Affiliate
5. Enter contact information for the affiliate
   1. Compulsory fields are First Name, Surname, Phone Number and Email
   2. See addendum below for OTAs - Online Travel Agents
6. Affilate > 
   1. Commission Type > 
      1. Percentage or Flat Fee - the amount the affiliate earns per booking
   2. Commission % or Commission Amount $ >
      1. Enter the amount earned by the affiliate per booking
   3. Affiliate Type >
      1. Credit Affiliate - no payment is required at the time of the booking.  The affliate takes payment offline from the guest and remits to your bank amount, minus their commission. 
      2. Commission Affiliate - full payment by credit card is made at the time of booking.  You pay the affiliate their commission offline.
      3. Net Affiliate - full payment minus the affiliates commission is made at the time of booking by credit card.
   4. Accounting System Code - optional field. See Account Mapping Codes
      
   5. Login Details > Username
   6. Enter a username which the affiliate will use to access their Bookeasy console
      1. Note:  An email will be sent to the affiliate advising them to change their password on login
   7. Status > Click this icon to activate
      
   8. Click Save

Addendum

1. OTAs - Online Travel Agents, use Bookeasy Connect to make and process their bookings.  They do not login to an agent portal.
   Setting up an affiliate console allows you to manage commissions and payments.
   When setting up this type of affiliate, enter your own email address.
2. Virtual Credit Cards >
   1. If the card is to be charged in full set the Affilate Type to Commission Affiliate.
   2. If the card is to be charged minus commission set the Affilate Type to Net Affiliate.
