The reservations calendar allows you to view and update accommodation availability at a glance. This article explains how to adjust availability in the reservations calendar to ensure room inventory accurately reflects what can be sold.

Note: If applicable, availability will flow through to your Bookeasy Connect


Updating Room Availability 

  1. Navigate to the left-hand menu (3 lines in the top left hand corner) 
  2. Click Inventory > Availability  
  3. Complete the following: 
    1. Date:  Select the dates you wish to make unavailable
    2. Rooms: Select what rooms you wish to make unavailable 
    3. Action: Select whether you would like the system to set, increase or decrease your availability
    4. Value: Enter your value to how many rooms you have available. For example if all rooms are unavailable change the value to 0
  4. Click Save
  5. When looking at you availability calendar, your rooms will now display as 0

Note: When viewing your availability calendar you can also click and drag and drop to select the dates you wish to block (If done correctly your dates will show as red) > Update the Value to 0 > Click Save 


Updating Unit Availability 

 

  1. Navigate to the left-hand menu (3 lines in the top left hand corner) 
  2. Click Inventory > Unit Availability   
  3. Click Dates & Availability > Select the dates on the calendar you wish to view on the availability calendar
  4. Click and drag and drop the dates and unit you wish to update availability for (The dates will be highlighted in blue)  > Click Open/ Close Availability
  5. A pop up will appear- Enter a reason > Click Close Availability or Open Availability based on your needs. 
  6. The system will provide an alert pop up to confirm > Click Yes 
  7. The Closed Availability will display on the unit availability calendar in red with the reason displayed.
