Improvements & Bug Fixes:


GUEST CONSOLE SELF SERVICE ENHANCEMENTS

When guests login to their account, they can now:

  • Update their master profile information
  • Remove their personal information from the system
  • Make new bookings




Updating Profile Information

Guests can now go to Manage My Account > Personal Details to view and update their personal information. Please note that details used to verify their account, such as a guest’s email address cannot be changed.


This enhancement is a precursor to additional features that will be introduced soon, which will allow guest authentication when making a booking so that their details can be pre-filled in order to streamline their booking experience.



Removing Personal Information

Guests can now go to Manage My Account > Login and Security > Remove my personal information if they wish to remove their personal information from the system.


The system will allow this as long as there are no current bookings with a future start or arrival date pending. If a guest attempts to remove their personal information whilst they have a booking with a future start or arrival date pending, the Guest Console will prompt them to try again after the bookings have been completed or cancelled.


By removing their personal information, the guest will be immediately logged out of their account and they will not be able to log back in. All bookings for that guest will remain, but have their personally identifiable information redacted.



Making New Bookings

Guests can now go to Make a New Booking where they will be presented with all destination partners and operators they have made direct bookings with.


Guests will be provided the phone number, email and website address for each partner displayed, allowing the guest to make additional bookings with previously booked partners.


Destination partners and operators are displayed where those with the most bookings made by the guest appear first, in order to streamline the user experience for the guest.



Windcave Hosted (PxPay) Gateway - Payment not recorded [#18286]

When bookings were made online for operators using the Windcave Hosted (PxPay) Gateway, payments were taken successfully but the payments would not be reflected against the booking. We have tested this profusely to ensure that this issue has been resolved.


Credit Card Vault Unaccessible [#18286]
Operators using the Credit Card Vault may have experienced an issue where they were not able to access the vault. This was due to an update in user permissions. We have ensured that the correct users will have access to the vault.
