New "Guests Can Book Units" Setting
A new setting has been introduced under Setup > My Property Details called "Guest Can Book Units".
This functionality is intended for accommodation providers who would like to have all bookings made automatically allocated to a room's unit, and is also intended for a yet-to-be-released future enhancement to your website booking engine, for those who would like to offer their guests the ability to select a specific unit when making a booking.
If you enable this setting and save changes, the following will occur:
- All existing unallocated bookings with an arrival from today onwards will be automatically allocated an available unit.
- If a booking is made where unit selection has not been specified in the booking process, the system will automatically allocate a unit to that booking.
